The Year 9 and Year 10 went to see Groundhog Day at the Old Vic. This Olivier Award-winning production was musical sensation based on the 1993 hit film. A comic parable of love, hope and transformation.

Phil Connors is a pretty awful guy, but when the cynical Pittsburgh TV weatherman is sent to cover the kooky annual Groundhog Day event in the small town of Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, he finds himself caught in a time loop that sends him on a hilarious path to enlightenment and redemption.

Olive said “It was awesome, I love the repetition and how he resurrected again and again, in different places all over the stage, clever and mind blowing. I kept asking myself how did he get there”

Dylan said “The miniature set represent the small town mentality”
