Drama Theatre Trip – Next to Normal

Year 10 and Year 11 GCSE Drama went to the Donmar Warehouse to see Next to Normal. It was a fantastic production that will hopefully lead to some perspective theatre review.

This  critically acclaimed Broadway musical Next to Normal is an intimate exploration of family and loss. At its heart a suburban wife and mother living with bipolar disorder and haunted by her past.

‘It was a fantastic production that really intrigued the audience. The set design projections were both witty and symbolic. I love the way the set design was multi functional and this helped show how Diana was trapped by her the traumatic ‘ Jorna Year 11
