The Two Headed Bird by Tamarind Theatre Company

Last Thursday and Friday all of Year 7 went to see The Two Headed Bird as a part of The Season of Bangla Drama 2023 at the Brady Arts Centre. A story of A couple’s struggle to find love against danger and conflict in a fishing town. With music, song, movement and puppetry.

Tarun  goes in search of the mythical Two Headed Bird to achieve fame and fortune. Everyone warns him not to go including his mother and his friend Pubali who loves him. Against their wishes Tarun goes out on a stormy night and encounters the deadly leopard. Will the soldiers capture him and punish the village? Can Pubali save him in time. Will Tarun be saved or will he meet disaster?
