Strike Action letter from Headteacher

Dear parent/carer
Re: NEU strike action
As you know the NEU has planned further strike action to take place on Thursday 2nd March. I have previously informed you that two further strike days are planned for Wednesday 15th March and Thursday 16th March. The strikes are happening because of the ongoing national dispute between the unions and the government over teachers’ pay, and not because of any issues at our school.
I’m getting in touch now to give you as much notice as possible that learning may be disrupted next Thursday 2nd March. We are considering several options, including moving some lessons online and closing the school.
At this stage I recommend that you start to make alternative childcare arrangements for Thursday 2nd March.
I will write to you again early next week with further updates as soon as I have definite information.
