With election time upon us we are bombarded with a great deal of information. In turn, this can be manipulated and appears in dubious online claims on social media. Whilst school-aged children are not old enough to vote, this is an ideal time to talk to them about misinformation and disinformation. Supporting our young people in developing safe online behaviour is of great importance and conversations are essential to check on their online well-being.
