Year 12 International Visit to Denmark and Sweden
In January our Year 12 students had the exciting opportunity to take part in an international visit to Denmark and Sweden, further strengthening our commitment to providing meaningful global experiences for all students.
The trip was centred in Copenhagen, where students explored one of Europe’s most forward-thinking cities. Through guided visits and independent exploration, students developed their understanding of sustainability, urban design and Scandinavian culture. Copenhagen’s blend of historic landmarks and modern innovation provided a rich context for learning beyond the classroom.
As part of the programme, students also travelled across the Øresund Bridge to visit Malmö in Sweden. This provided a unique opportunity to experience two countries in one trip and to compare different approaches to city living, architecture and community life. Students explored the city’s modern developments alongside its historic centre, further enriching their understanding of the region.
This trip forms part of our wider international programme, which aims to broaden horizons, raise aspirations and equip students with the skills needed to thrive in an increasingly global society.
