Steel Pan Orchestra Travels to Barbados

Our talented Steel Pan Orchestra is currently enjoying the trip of a lifetime as they travel to Barbados to perform in the birthplace of the steel pan tradition and experience the rich musical heritage of the Caribbean.

During their visit, students will perform for local audiences, work alongside talented musicians and immerse themselves in Barbadian culture. As well as showcasing their musical talents, the trip provides an invaluable opportunity for students to develop their confidence, independence and understanding of a different culture.

This exciting visit has been made possible thanks to the generous support of The Portal Trust, whose funding has helped make this incredible opportunity a reality for our students. Their investment in young people enables experiences that extend far beyond the classroom, creating lifelong memories and inspiring students to aim high.

The visit reflects our commitment to providing exceptional enrichment opportunities and celebrating the diversity of our school community. We are incredibly proud of our students, who are acting as outstanding ambassadors for Stepney All Saints School throughout their time in Barbados.
