Year 9 Dramatists at Stepney All Saints were fortunate to enjoy a fabulous production of Twelfth Night by Royal  Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) on Tuesday 6th December.

RADA presents Shakespeare for young audiences, abridged plays brought to life for young people who want to get swept up in a high energy Shakespeare production

Twelfth Night is a chaotic whirl of romance, heartbreak and madness and was performed with wit, passion and genius comic timing.

Following a tragic crash which separates twin siblings Viola and Sebastian, this tale of unrequited love follows Viola, who, finding herself far from home, disguises herself as boy. She falls in love with Orsino, but he fancies Olivia, and Olivia has fallen for Viola.

When Sebastian, who is the spitting image of his twin sister, turns up, the whole thing gets much, much more complicated.

Rabia Year 9 said “I loved the play it was so funny  and think I want to do GCSE Drama.”

Yusuf Islam said “the staging and the set were very impressive.”
