Headteacher’s Letter – End of Year – July 2022

Dear parents and carers,
We find ourselves approaching the end of the academic year. Exams are complete, and we look forward to the coming academic year. As with everything, when one thing ends another begins as we are now planning for September and some new beginnings.
School Leavers
We have colleagues leaving at the end of this academic year as they move to promotions, different parts of the country and new adventures. These are:

On behalf of the whole school community, I would like to thank them for their contribution to school life and wish each of them continued happiness and success.
Free School Meal Vouchers
Tower Hamlets council have confirmed that they will be offering a voucher to each student eligible for free school meals to cover the summer period. This will be an Asda voucher emailed to the parental email address at the start of the summer holiday.
A number of super stores and restaurants will be participating in “kids eat for free or less during summer 2022.” Details are outlined here https://bit.ly/3aJ8nOQ, however we also advise parents/carer to check with these companies directly.
Arrangements for the last week of term
Monday 18th and Tuesday 19th July 2022 Early School Closure for students of 12.20pm https://www.stepneyallsaints.school/extreme-weather-and-health-safety-early-school-closure/
Wednesday 20th July 2022 Activities Day, a range of activities on and off sites, students in year groups have received communications regarding the arrangements for this day
Thursday 21stJuly 2022 Sports Day, students will be dismissed from Mile End Stadium at 12.30pm
End of Year/ Start of Academic Year Arrangements
This school year will end on Friday 22nd July 2022. Students will follow their normal lessons for periods one and two, and from 11.15am until 11.30am there will be a staggered dismissal.
The new school year will begin for all students on Friday 2nd September 2022. Students must attend school in full uniform. The details for each year group are below:

Following the registration day, all students will attend school from Monday 5th September 2022 following their normal timetable.
